This past Monday, I spent about an hour and a half in Cornell’s lab for computer graphics. It was really neat to get outside the business school and check out some of the cool stuff that people at Cornell are up to. I’m excited by the number of consumer and business applications for a lot of this technology, but the most exciting thing is that devices like Microsoft’s Kinect and increasingly cheap touch surfaces are really opening up a world of possibilities for the mainstream to take advantage of.
